Project Curiosity
Parametric Space City Space city design is a current work in progress conceptual design based on algorithmic modeling. The base design of the station is completely parametric in nature in order to maximize adaptability or size fluctuation. The design is made in Autodesk Maya, with various inbuilt tools. The Idea explores the modularity and parametric capabilities of the software and builds on some core concepts of space city design using inspiration from Von Braun Space Station 1956. Here we also explore the idea of centrifugal force in order to simulate gravity and the design requirements for such outcomes. Due to it still being work in progress, more studies will be done over time to prepare a fully graphical view on the space station and how the architecture will adapt to a topology such as space.
